Broncus Medical- Booth 942
Broncus Medical is happy to announce that Dr. Gerard J. Criner from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University will be presenting the latest clinical data using the new Archimedes™ System at our booth # 942.
Broncus Medical has developed the new Archimedes System to address the challenge of accessing those nodules that are not accessible via the traditional route of the airway tree. This technique uses a transparenchymal approach (BTPNA) which is not dependent on the need to have an airway leading directly to the lesion.

Broncus Medical will be also introducing next generation pulmonary access technology from access, diagnose to treatment. For more information, please visit our booth.

Vertex Pharmaceuticals- Booth 1647

In no other pulmonary disease is the genetic basis of disease more critical to understand than Cystic Fibrosis (CF). At Booth 1647, Vertex Pharmaceuticals will provide a spotlight on the role of genetics in our understanding of CF. Focus at the educational booth will be on how molecular defects in the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) gene relate to the complex clinical manifestations of CF. The booth walks visitors through interactive learning modules and several key topics in CF, including:

  • Mechanism of action of CFTR protein channels
  • CFTR protein defects and their effect on total CFTR activity
  • CF pulmonary disease
  • New exploratory clinical endpoints

Download the CF GeneE App and have CFTR mutation information right at your fingertips!
